Before getting the family Christmas photos taken, consider a whiter smile this year!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Or at least that’s how the popular Christmas song goes. However, while you are taking down your Halloween decorations and beginning to plan your Thanksgiving menu, your thoughts might be slowly going to the Christmas holiday. You may already be planning your next family photo sessions so you can start sending out those yearly Christmas cards to friends and family.

However, before you stand in front of that camera, take a second to think about how confident you feel with your smile. Has a love of coffee over the years left you with yellowing teeth? If so, you certainly don’t want that to show in your festive photos. If this is the case,Teeth Whitening it might be time to consider teeth whitening in Lakewood.

“But there isn’t time to get my teeth whiter before my photos!”

That’s certainly not true! Sure, we know you have a hectic schedule, and the holidays often make it even more stressful and busy; however, in-office teeth whitening only takes about 45 minutes. If you’re looking for a quick way to whiten, then put down those whitening pastes, gels and trays and turn to our professional teeth whitening system. At-home products might offer a minor change, but you certainly won’t see it right away. However, in one in-office whitening session, your smile could be up to 10 shades whiter. That’s certainly a whiter smile you will notice!

How does teeth whitening work?

We will apply a highly concentrated whitening gel onto your teeth. Then we will shine a laser on your smile to activate the gel. Of course, we will use a separator to keep your mouth open during the procedure; however, don’t worry; the separator is not uncomfortable or painful.

We will leave the activating gel on your teeth for about 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes are up, we will remove the gel, reapply a new layer of gel and use the laser once more to activate it. We typically perform three 15-session whitening sessions in one visit.

What stains will teeth whitening remove?

Teeth whitening works on external stains only, which are often yellow. Our system is strong but it will not help with internal stains that are caused by antibiotics or trauma. Internal stains are often brown, blue or gray in color. Also, teeth whitening will not brighten dental work like crowns or fillings.

So, what are you waiting for? With the holidays fast approaching and your photo shoot on the horizon, let’s get you a more radiant smile as soon as possible. Call our office today to schedule your next teeth whitening in Lakewood.
